Copy Post is a business. For Copy Post to stay in business it needs to at least cover its costs and hopefully make a profit. Copy Post does not get a discount on postage from the Post Office. It is normal for businesses to charge the customer more for a product then the business pays for that product. Copy Post adds a very small service charge to the price of each stamp.

This is not an easy question to answer. The costs are based on weight and distance. We can easily tell you what our price is and you are free to compare this with other venues. Copy Post is a convenience store not a discount store. Copy Post offers convenience, choice and full packaging service. When you bring your package to Copy Post we can tell you the fastest, safest, least expensive way to send that package. We can supply the correct box and packaging supplies and even package it for you.

NO! UPS prefers that a corrugated box without any paper wrap is used. This is because the paper has a tendency to rip on the conveyers and the address information will be lost. Even if the box has printing on it, it is preferable not to cover it with paper.

Only the Post Office can officially Postmark mail. When we meter mail it has a date but the Post Office may Postmark another date on top of that. Once our mail is picked up, we have to change our meter date to thenext pickup day. WE CANNOT PREDATE any mail.

The Sykesville P.O. picks up our Eldersburg store, The Randallstown P.O. picks up at our Randallstown store.

Unfortunately there is not a consistent time that the mail is picked up. Usually it is picked up between 11am and 2pm on weekdays and about 2pm on Saturday.

Since our meter is registered with the Sykesville Post Office, all our metered mail MUST go through Sykesville. Also since the metered mail is dated it must go through the Sykesville Post Office on the metered date.

Both FedEx and UPS pickup at 4pm on week days and FedEx picks up 12:00 noon on Saturday.
